This happened earlier this week, where Emily seriously scared me with her ideas.
I was peacefully enjoying my allocated free time for the day. When Emily is working, she usually gets home towards the end of my 30 minutes off from doing housework. I was sitting on the couch, wearing my usual attire. This is a hoodie, one of the 'light down jackets', a North Face gilet, a North Face Nupste, and finally another puffy gilet.
Emily entered the door, and dropped off her bag and began to remove her shoes. As required, I got off the couch and kneeled on the bottom of it, until she gives permission for me to stand. Oddly enough, when she came in, she had her laptop with her, and sat down on the couch where I was kneeling beside.
"I've found your next coat slave!" she enthusiastically exclaimed.
I was worried. Over the past few months, Emily had bought me a bunch of coats. I had numerous gilets/vests, "light down coats" (at least in her eyes they are 'light'), more heavier down jackets, and a few additional items. The reason this made me incredibly worried was the fact that the only thing I thought she would buy next would be a down suit. While I liked the look of these, I knew that she would make me wear Gilets and even puffy jackets as well as the suit itself.
To that extent, I felt slightly relieved when I heard the words "Himalayan Parka" from her. However, this feeling was soon lost when she showed me an image of the jacket. Made by North Face, it was sure to be good quality.

However I immediately saw it was incredibly puffy and thick. The hood having drawstrings was also a reason for me to worry. Emily loved to buy coats which had hem strings, where you can tighten/pull strings at the bottom of the jacket, designed to keep the cold out. Emily likes to do this as she knows it makes me much more uncomfortable.
"And not to worry, we can get you another gilet to go over it as well!" she commented.
Again, this was Emily's way to always make me know that she was in control of me, and how comfortable I was.
To most people, a down gilet/vest is more of a light warmer, something to wear in cool weather with a small breeze, or where you don't feel like wearing something heavy and thick. The way Emily saw them however, was completely different. She always bought gilets that were at least a size too small for me (usually making them an XS), and having me wear them on top of the regular puffy jackets I was wearing at that point. This made the stuff I was wearing underneath the gilet feel much, much more tight and constricting, something she views as amusing.
The end result of this is usually me wearing at least 2 gilets, layered at different points between layers of coats, massively restricting my movement.
However, an XS gilet over this Himalayan down coat, as well as the items likely to be underneath it, would be nearly impossible, not to mention beyond uncomfortable.
Emily went on to order it anyway. It is yet to arrive, so I am enjoying every day of relative freedom (this still being wearing multiple down coats) I get before she dresses me in this monster.
